What We Offer
California Transit Services provides CARB Clean Truck Check (HD I/M) testing for heavy-duty vehicles at our City of Industry facility and via mobile service throughout Southern California. Our CARB-credentialed technicians ensure your trucks meet California Air Resources Board requirements.

California's Clean Truck Check program applies to nearly all heavy-duty vehicles over 14,000 lbs operating in California:

Our Specialty:
We test 2013 and newer vehicles with OBD systems. If your vehicle is a 2012 or older diesel without OBD, you'll need smoke opacity testing (not offered by California Transit Services).

When to Test:
You can submit passing test results up to 90 days BEFORE your deadline. We recommend testing 60-90 days early to allow time for repairs if needed.
California-Registered Vehicles:
Deadlines are based on your DMV registration expiration date:1st deadline: DMV registration expiration date
2nd deadline: 6 months after expiration date
Example: If your registration expires January 15th, your deadlines are January 15th and July 15th.
Out-of-State Vehicles:
Deadlines are based on the last digit of your VIN:VIN Last Digit | Deadline Month
