Privacy Policy

California Transit Services ("CTS", "we") operates caltransservices.com and private online tools for our staff and customers. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact and quote requests. When you use a form on this site, we receive what you type: name, company, email, phone, and the details of your request.
- Job applications. When you apply for a driving position, we receive the application details you submit.
- Sign-in to operations tools. Our private tools use Google sign-in. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us so we can confirm you are authorized. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, calendar, or any other Google data.
- Technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To respond to quotes, questions, and job applications.
- To confirm that people using our private tools are authorized to do so.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot our websites.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. Information from Google sign-in is used only for authentication and authorization.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run these systems (such as our hosting provider and Google for sign-in), and when required by law.
Retention
We keep quote and application records for as long as needed to handle the request and meet our business and legal obligations. Sign-in records are kept only as long as needed for security purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you by contacting us below. You can revoke our access to your Google profile at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
